Is whitesmokeinstaller.exe a virus?

I accidentally clicked an ad, and it installed it. Before the file could be opened (right after chrome downloaded it), I deleted the .exe file and emptied the recycle bin. I'm running a virus scan right now but all it's picked up so far are tracking cookies. Is the file a virus?
