Christians: Would you thumb me down for answering this question this way?

The answer is a good one and shouldn't have received a thumb's down, but the Muslims are decended from Abraham so there is a link. Unlike most Christians. I don't take the Bible as strictly God's word. There have been too many translations over the centuries and some of it has changed from the original Hebrew. Plus many chapters were written by men who were just describing what they saw, not necessarily what God said. Is it the will of GOD? Absolutely, but not ever word came directly from God.
