I've heard that after a series of naval defeats, in anger Napoleon forbade officers from being called 'sir' in the French navy, a tradition which continues to this day. But if they don't call officers sir, what do they call them?

There's a folder on my desktop that's not getting deleted?

I don't follow. Are you claiming that the fact that people believe Jesus existed as a person is somehow evidence that he really did exist as a person? So is the fact that people believe Allah is God evidence that Allah is God? Beliefs are never evidence (except as to what people believe, of course).
