How to delete files on my computer?

so i downloaded a file called dvdstyler, and when i did, it automatically downloaded things like weather bug and pc optimizer pro. i went to the start button, found them in all [programs, right clicked them, pressed delete. then i went to the recycled bin and emptied it. but those files still show up. how can i delete them officially step by step?
