Jews - Why does your scripture condone picking up sticks on the Sabbath but not sodomising boys aged three?

I would ascertain that that is a given. If the scripture condemned picking up sticks on the Shabbat, I suppose by that reasoning, it would be okay to collect up bundles of grass, since grass was not specifically mentioned. Is this question even real? Maybe Answers has finally drove me insane.
